Description of Duties:

The primary responsibility of the field service technician is to perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer's heavy construction and mining equipment in the field at customer's job location within a local service territory.  Repairs should be accurate and must meet customers "time" requirements.  Additional requirements are the timely completion of required paperwork for customer and warranty billings.  Field technician will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems through readings from schematics.

Major Activities:

• Maintenance and repair to machines
• Attention to customer requirements
• Troubleshooting
• Administrative duties to include provide documentation for customer and warranty billings

Your immediate supervisor is the Branch Service Manager.
